How to Install iDraw User Extensions in Inkscape

Need help installing iDraw extension files in Inkscape? Follow the steps below to complete the installation.

1. Download and Unzip the Extension Files

Download the software in this ZIP file, then extract the ZIP archive. Depending on your computer settings, the file may be unzipped automatically.

2. Open Inkscape

Launch Inkscape on your computer.

3.1. Windows

If you are using Windows, open the menu and go to Edit > Preferences.

3.2. Mac

If you are using a Mac, open the menu and select Inkscape > Preferences.

4. Select System

In the Preferences window, select System from the list on the left.

5. Open the User Extensions Folder

Look at the directory locations shown in the right-hand panel. Find the User extensions folder and click the Open button next to it.

6. Copy the Extension Files

Copy all the contents from the ZIP archive you downloaded into the Inkscape extensions directory. If files or folders with the same names already exist, overwrite them.

7. Restart Inkscape

Launch Inkscape again, or if it is already running, close it and restart the application.
