The UUNA TEK 3.0 Pen Plotter makes it easier to Batch Write Personalized Letters by combining a reusable letter template with Excel data. Using the software's Binding and batch data functions, changing information such as recipient names and personalized messages can be applied to multiple pages.
1. Set Up the UUNA TEK 3.0 Software
Before starting, make sure the UUNA TEK 3.0 software is installed on your computer. If the software has not been installed yet, complete the installation first. You can refer to the following software installation videos:
After opening the software, select the paper size you want to use. In this tutorial, A5 paper is used as the example.

2. Create and Adjust the Letter Template
Click “Add Text”, enter the required content in the editing window, and then click “Add” to confirm.

The newly added content will appear as a text box on the canvas.

Drag the text box to the required location. The settings at the top can be used to adjust the font, font size, character spacing, and line spacing. Continue adding and adjusting text boxes until the complete letter layout is finished.

3. Connect Variable Letter Content to Excel
Prepare an Excel spreadsheet containing the information that will be different for each letter, such as recipient names and personalized messages.
Select the text box containing information that needs to change. Open the property panel and click “Binding.” Enter the corresponding Excel cell reference based on the position of the data.
For example, if the recipient names are listed in Column A, enter A1 and confirm.

Repeat the same process for other variable content. For example, if the personalized letter body is stored in Column B, bind the text box to B1.
This binding process allows the same letter template to use different Excel data for each page, making it suitable for creating Excel to Handwritten Letters with the UUNA TEK 3.0 Pen Plotter.
4. Import the Batch Data
- Click “Batch application data” on the left side of the software.
- Under the batch type, select “A table in a file has multiple pages (applicable to many pages in one sheet)”, then click “Next.”
- For the splitting method, select “Splitting with Rows”, then click “Next.”
- In the pop-up window, click “Browse files”, select and open the prepared spreadsheet, and continue clicking “Next” until the data import is completed.

5. Preview and Write the Personalized Letters
1. Preview the Generated Pages
Use the page navigation controls to preview the generated letters. Check whether the recipient names, personalized content, and text positions are correct before writing.

2. Start Writing
Place the paper and writing pen on the UUNA TEK 3.0 Pen Plotter, then connect the machine to your computer. Click “Write” on the right side of the software to begin writing the current page.
3. Check the First Letter
After the first letter has been completed, check the physical result to make sure the output is correct.

4. Continue with the Remaining Letters
Replace the completed sheet with a new sheet, switch to the next page in the software, and click “Write” again. Repeat the same process until all remaining personalized letters are completed.
